I Come Up Here To Think
€1,400.00
This was part of the collection F**k the Art World….Look at the Real World.
Painted in 2005 not long after 9/11 when the twin towers of New York City were destroyed.
The idea taken from the famous image ‘lunch atop a skyscraper’ where the construction workers are sat along the steel girder having their packed lunches.
In this case, Bin Laden stands above the amazing city of New York, above the traffic, noise and pollution.
I was suggesting he’s up there to think. Is he thinking, plotting an attack to show his hate towards the Western World?? Or is his up there with feelings of guilt? Thinking of the pain and destruction he caused to thousands of people. It’s open for personal perception I hope.
It wasn’t long after I completed this painting I realized, the attack on NYC 9/11, was not really as we were lead to believe by the media.
I have no doubt in my mind that the ‘public story’ behind the attack is a complete cover up for a disgustingly corrupt, higher and dangerously powerful organization that influence global societies more than we could imagine possible. (Just my opinion)
