Various Selection from 2000-2015

This category is a mix of my work from 2000 to 2015. I have worked on a number of trademark styles over the years, influenced by my own thoughts and feelings and the surrounding lifestyles at the time of painting.  

In the earlier years, my commissioned decorative abstract styles were fashionable for the luxurious villas of Marbella in Southern Spain where my studio was based, but with a need for change from what had become a seemingly commercial pattern for me, in 2008 I touched on a contrasting political collection named ‘F**k the Art World…Look at the Real World’. I started to really connect again to my art.

During these years, I also explored a pop art approach to my work.  Using a graffiti style I’d developed as a teenager, I was uniquely characterising portraits of girl’s faces experimenting with different brush effects creating individual moods and attitudes on each one.

While giving me enjoyment and satisfaction, years of painting such varied styles still left me with an urge to follow my true feelings with “art from the heart” and from 2015 I embarked on a journey with The Writing on the Wall collection.
