Visions Of An Innocent Mind

I’ve never been one to ‘follow the system’ even since my earlier school days. It’s now that I’m older I look back at the traditional educational system and see how it’s so flawed.
It’s been proved that even the ‘profession’ of a teacher that was so highly regarded and respected has often been an excuse for ‘abuse of power’ for some. In many cases it was well known amongst others, but swept under the carpet just as many ‘wrong doings’ are within traditional politics.
Even the pushed agendas and curriculums that have been in place for decades, until recently, have never guided children towards ‘happiness’! Even in my school days it was never even spoke about how important ‘happiness’ is to an individual when they’re older. It just seemed that if you pass your exams, follow the system to ultimately land you in a high paid job, that was your ‘happiness’ and no questions asked!! This painting I hope expresses my feelings towards this subject and how my intention for change lies.
