Love him or hate him, Liam Gallagher has created his own iconic image over the last 25 years of being a rock star!

This painting isn’t just a portrait of the Oasis front man.
A few years ago I was listening to an interview on him. He was talking about his years after the Oasis split and being out of the music scene.

He explained how he had some of his darkest most miserable days, sat watching daytime tv, waking up without a purpose, day after day, bored as hell…..he said ‘boredom will kill you man’!
It really stuck in my mind what he said. I’ve personally been at that ‘lost’ stage at one point in my life, as I’m sure many of us have. It really struck me how boredom, or ‘lack of life purpose’ can have such a negative impact on all of us, from a college student, to a global rock star who would appear to ‘have it all’.

This piece shows a young cocky Liam, being advised by his older more experienced self, about life to come.

‘Boredom’ doesn’t care who you are, if you let it in to your life for too long…….“it’ll kill you”.
