Can’t Live Without Love

Inspired by watching my young daughter pick a daisy flower in the garden and start to pick the petals. First thing I thought was her in years to come doing the ‘He loves me, he loves me not’ as the painting depicts.
It made me happy but also a sense of sadness that she will inevitably experience heart break at some point in her life, and there will be nothing I can do about it as her dad.
However, on the positive side, by crossing out the negative word ‘not’, it’s my way of expressing that she will never be without love as mine for her is forever unconditional.
